Chakra are the thousands of small energy points that we have throughout our body and a chakra balance concentrates a healer's own energy onto the 7 major energy points of the body, which align themselves vertically from the crown of your head to the base of your spine.

Our chakra points absorb energy from all around us both internally and externally soaking them up like a sponge, naturally that means it soaks up both positive and negative energies. Whilst the positive are good for us, the negative energy starts to block and slow-down the flow of the positive energy through the body causing blockages and congestion, which I believe ultimately affects things like mood-swings and body health.
